Welcome to MikalyaJ, the Jewelry brand that was specially created for YOU, and with love by yours truly, Jodene Isakowitz. I created MikaylaJ for the woman who cares about quality and who is looking for effortless pieces to compliment her unique style. MikaylaJJewlery offers that and more- versatility and the freedom to express yourself through fashion. 

Growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa I was enveloped by rich cultures and incredibly diverse colors and textures. I was constantly surrounded by strong South African women as role models who influenced my love for fashion and accessories. They always dressed with ease and their accessories demonstrated a sense of confidence that highlighted who they were. When I moved to Florida in 2006, I had to physically leave behind my African roots , however they never left my soul. The passion I have always had for jewelry was engrained in me. Moving to the United States, I saw a void that I could fill with pieces that reminded me of the beautiful golden sunsets I grew up watching.

So, I decided to design collections that were influenced by my upbringing that I could share with all of you. Between the metal work of the jewelry and the textures influenced by the landscapes of South Africa, the collections started to fall into place with ease, the same way I was influenced by the unique fashions growing up. With quality being one of the most important values to me, I designed my pieces in 925 Sterling Silver and plated them in 14K Gold. I believe that exceptional quality is something that all women deserve.
